Hi Richard,
Just a quick thank you for all your help today, Jake (9 yrs old) was absolutely overjoyed with his lesson and his sax.
He has already had the neighbours in for a recital and been to my brothers for a showing off session there, I can't recommend you highly enough. (But I will give it a good go) Jake was captivated from the moment he entered your home, and I was amazed at how much you taught him in such a short space of time. I will be putting your cards up far and wide.
Thanks again,
B. F. Alton, Hampshire

Hi Richard,
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say a huge thank you for your time on Monday. I was like an excited child before and after the lesson, and it's made the world of difference - no sore lip, a bottom C and some great stuff to work on. The Pink Panther is in the bag too, brilliant. You have a wonderfully relaxed yet encouraging way of teaching.
Anyways thanks again from the both of us.
Take care
C. H. Poole Dorset
20/05/08 Hi Richard, I have received the sax. I am very satisfied with it, it's funny how much came back to me considering I haven't played for about 25 years. Thanks for all your help M.H. Southend on Sea
28/04/08 Hi Richard, I had my first lesson with the local teacher I mentioned to you when we met last week. He had already looked up your website after our phone conversation and I explained about the lesson and help with the instrument, and that you are only an hour away on the M4 from Yate (which is one of the main areas Sean teaches in, and is a "peri" for Bath and NE Somerset, the other side of J18 from me). I gave him a handful of your cards (see, doing my best here!) which he was happy to take. My point to him was that when you dont know what you are doing, being able to see someone tolerant like yourself is a big bonus, rather than having to go to a shop and do everything in public. Anyway, very successful lesson; he was able to tune to my hired sax and we played several duets, and some along to CD backing. What fun - wish I had taken this up years ago. After the trials and tribulations of the piano (the few years of flute have come in very handy) it's such a fun instrument. Fortunately I don't have close neighbours either, because a lot of the playing along to the CD was at pretty full volume! Thank you so much for the introductory lesson, which made such a difference as I could practice until I met Sean. Best wishes P. B. Yate
28/04/08 Dear Mr Wansbrough,, Just a quick note to thank you for your time and patience with me yesterday. Excellent lesson, has given me the confidence to try and really make a go of learning. Many thanks again. J. B. Daventry
27/02/08 Dear Richard. My daughter is really enjoying her clarinet lessons at school, and never misses an opportunity to show off what she has learnt, so we would like to pay the balance of £145 to buy the instrument. I would like to thank you for the painless method of hiring and ultimately buying this clarinet and I would not hesitate to recommend your services to any of our friends in the future. Many thanks, P.D. Eastleigh
14/02/08 (Yamaha YTS-62 tenor sax and Yamaha YSS-475 soprano sax) "Richard, a huge great big thank you for all that you have done to get me started on playing the saxophone. Firstly, the products you provided , from the saxophone itself to the stands, the books etc., and the support from you behind those sales was of exceptional quality. The prices are some of the cheapest you will find on the internet, the quality of the instruments is second to none, especially as they are all brand new, and you set every instrument up with your vast experience and expertise. Most importantly for me though is your teaching method. So relaxed, yet informative. You made me feel very at ease, especially as I recollected music lessons from so long ago. They always seemed a chore, whereas with you it was such a laugh especially when you explained how we breathe when asleep. My wife calls it snoring! Richard, another inspirational day for me. I have gone away having learnt so much, with loads more to learn. I look forward to another lesson in a month or so, and am excited about being able to spend some more of my money. Thanks a lot and see you soon. Regards, D. M. Devizes
21/01/08 Many thanks for such a wonderful service and product. Alice is progressing very well and we have distributed your business cards to other budding musicians. Regards J.D. Dorset
22/01/08 Hi Richard, Just letting you know that I received the Yamaha Tenor safe and sound earlier today. It’s a beautiful instrument and the accessory pack you provided is brilliant. I've just about got the hang of putting it together and cleaning it, and even managed to play something that resembles a scale! A *huge* thank you for getting me setup so quickly, The service you provide is fantastic, I won’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone that’s looking to take up the Sax. Cheers, A.H. Hull

24/01/06 Dear Richard, Thanks for your excellent service, the approach that you take to your customers has meant that I have been able to enjoy my first foray into playing the sax, and your rental options have meant that I have been able to select a saxophone that is just right for me. The 45 minute intro was amazing, and I am so pleased that I have continued with the lessons. There is so much to learn but I come away every time feeling that I am making progress. G.M. Reading
30/11/05 Dear Richard, Thank you for my lesson yesterday, I was amazed by how much you managed to teach me. I wish that I lived closer so I could continue my lessons with you. The saxophone I have hired is a fantastic instrument and I am really enjoying learning to play it. My dog is not that keen though! Many thanks S.N. - Hanworth
10/11/05 Dear Richard, Thank you for your advice yesterday with regard to the reeds etc. I just thought I would drop you a line to say how delighted I am with the Yamaha clarinet and the overall service you provided. When considering whether to take it up again or not I needed the advice of a professional who could answer my questions and provide advice on the two brands I was considering. As a teacher, you provided that assistance readily, professionally and impartially, helped me decide on the correct instrument for me, which arrived the day after I ordered it, and you have been so willing to answer any questions I may have had and provide sound helpful advice since I received the instrument. Thank you very much indeed. It has been much appreciated. If you wish, please feel free to add the above on your website as a testimonial if you feel it would be of assistance. Again very many thanks Kind Regards K.G. - Hereford
09/10/05 Hi Richard, My son really enjoyed his lesson with you on Sunday. He had another one at school today and has been practising enthusiastically ever since! Keeping my fingers crossed that he's still this keen after Christmas. So, many thanks. C.G. - Lewes

03/05/05 Dear Richard, ......Thank you for a wonderful service. I wish you you and your business the very best..... J.C. - London
15/02/05 Richard Many thanks for your time on Saturday. We spent all of the 1 hour journey back commenting on how helpful you were and how lucky we were to have chosen to see you rather than just go to the local shop where we may have ended up making just a purchase - and missed out on a very worthwhile lesson, no only on the playing of the sax, but on handling and care of it! Many thanks again P.S. - Ripley, Surrey
13/12/04 I've always loved the sound of the saxophone but have not played a musical instrument since attempting Edelweiss on the recorder at school. Also I have an damage to the nerves and tendons my left hand which means that I don't have full independent movement of the fingers. Still when I saw the advert for saxophone hire I was tempted so I decided to ring. Richard answered the telephone immediately and could not have been more helpful. He went to great trouble to find out exactly what I can and can't do with the hand using examples of ordinary non-musical movements like holding a cup. I felt that he was being completely honest when he finally said that he didn't feel that the old injury would cause a problem with the saxophone. Different instruments were advertised for hire and Richard went through the pros and cons of each at my request. By then I was feeling guilty at taking up so much of his time but Richard had picked up that I was not very confident about learning to play any musical instrument and took the time and trouble to assure me that the book and DVD he could supply (also for hire at very reasonable cost) would take me through learning in slow simple stages. On Richard's advice I decided to hire a Yamaha alto sax, the book, the DVD and a saxophone stand. After that it couldn't have been easier! Richard e-mailed me the hire form, I filled it out, signed it, added proof of identity and posted it back Recorded Delivery. The sax arrived well packed and complete with all the cleaning tools the day after Richard received the form. Since then he has been unfailing in sending regular e-mail support, and I have found everything he said to be true. I've had my saxophone long enough now to know that my slight physical limitation is irrelevant with this instrument. The sax stand has been very useful, especially during the first few days when facial muscles tire quickly because they are being asked to perform new functions. The book, The Complete Saxophone Player is as simple and straightforward as promised. It begins by assuming that you know nothing at all, including how to read music, and takes everything in simple easy stages. The Jools Holland DVD is excellent too and the only addition I've made to Richard's comprehensive kit is a cheap digital metronome. Doing business with Richard has not only been easy it has been a pleasure. You don't often get friendly honest advice with no sense of being rushed as well as total efficiency, but when you do its superb. Thanks Richard! Sharon
23/11/04 Hi Richard Just wanted to say thank you for the time you spent with me on Saturday. I have to admit, at first viewing, I thought the 45 minute 'free' lesson would have strings attached. How wrong could I be? I learnt as much in those 45 minutes as I was expecting to learn in about 3 or 4 weeks! Your teaching method is superb and, although a lot of information was crammed into the 45 minutes, I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the duration of the lesson. Having never even picked up a saxophone before, I was delighted with the amount I learnt from you. As for the saxophone itself, what a wonderful instrument! I'm really having a lot of fun playing it..... not sure the neighbours would agree though! Thanks again. Andrew
